Armin D. Lawson

64; Borden

Funeral services for Armin D. Lawson, 64, Borden, will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 10, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with cremation to follow. He died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.

 He was born April 4, 1949 in Oberstaufen, Germany to Josephine and the late Charles W. Lawson. He worked for the Horseshoe Casino for 16 years and was a member of Teamster Local 89. He was a huge NASCAR fan, enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Joany Flynn and her husband, Joseph, Ronald L. Flick Jr. and his wife, Erin, Michael Lawson and his wife, Rochelle, Angela Dominguez and her husband, Mauricio, and Stephen Lawson and his wife, Stacie; mother, Josephine Huber Lawson; a brother, Wolfgang Lawson and his wife, Jacque; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

 Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Moon Lawson. 

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
