William I. Hunter, 74; Corydon

— Funeral services for William I. Hunter, 74, Corydon, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany, with burial at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He died, returning  to his Heavenly Father, on Tuesday, March 18, 2014.

 He worked for the Kroger Company and the Creasy Company in Louisville. He retired from SuperValu based out of Champaign, Ill. in 2001. He was born Jan. 17, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William and Catherine Wynne Hunter.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Judith E. Newell  Hunter; daughter, Mary Ellen Stalnaker and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Natasha and Chad Stalnaker; and sister-in-law, Mary Hunter .  

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
