Sgt. Edward Ira Weber

37; of Georgetown

Funeral services for Technical Sgt. Edward Ira Weber, USAF, 37, of Georgetown, will be at 12 p.m. Monday, June 10, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany, with full military honors to follow at New Albany National Cemetery. He died Monday, June 3, 2013, in Colorado Springs, Colo., following a motorcycle accident.

He was born in Pikeville, Ky., and later moved and grew up in Ashland, Ky. He had served 14 years in the Air Force and was currently a communications specialist while stationed at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs. He had a great love for riding his Harley and the UK Wildcats.  He loved music, computers and will be missed by his family and all who knew him.  

Survivors include his parents, Dan and Wanda Weber, of Georgetown; sisters, Andrea “Andie” Clark and her husband Tony, of Burlington, Ky. and Jennifer Weber-Roe and her husband Phillip, of Burlington, Ky.;  grandmother, Virginia Weber, of Clarksville; nephews, Cameron and Carson Clark; aunt, Lana Harrison and her husband Greg, of Evansville.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Opal Boaz.

A reception of family and friends will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
