Thomas B. “Junie” Kelty Jr., 72; of New Albany

Funeral services for Thomas B. “Junie” Kelty Jr., 72, of New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 415 E. Eighth St., New Albany, with burial with military honors to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. He died Friday, June 7, 2013. 

He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. 

Survivors include his wife, Mary E. (Lamon) Kelty; a son, Michael P. Kelty, of New Albany; daughters, Ruth Kelty, of New Albany, and Kristie Burk and her husband Rob, of Charlestown; sisters, Mary Catherine Stahl, of Detroit, Anne Stillwell, of Louisville, June Slack, of Louisville, Jean Mattingly, of Springfield, Ky., Rosie Glasscock, of Lebanon, Ky., Brenda Spalding, of Lebanon, Ky., Louise Nalley, of Waycross, Ga., and Mary Lillie Hill, of Loretto, Ky.; brothers, Joe Kelty, of Manton, Ky., Jack Kelty, of Springfield, Ky., Mike Kelty, of Loretto, Ky., and Frank Kelty, of Mt. Washington, Ky.; and grandsons, Garrett and Levi Burk.

Visitiation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany. 

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
