Funeral services for Marvin Slattery, 88, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Friday, April 26, at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany.
He was a native of New Albany and formerly owned and operated Slattery Boiler Repair and Steel Fabricators. He was a lifetime Mason and member of the Scottish Rite in Indianapolis. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita R. (Craycraft) Slattery; a daughter, Debra S. Dietrich and her husband, Ralph, of Georgetown; and a brother, Robert “Mickey” Slattery, of Dunedin, Fla.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 pm. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Kosair Children’s Hospital.
