Dorothy L. Scheppelman, 90; of Clarksville

Funeral services for Dorothy L. Scheppelman, 90, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at her home.

She was born Aug. 4, 1922, to the late Charles and Annie Kate Thornhill Brenke. She was a homemaker and member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville.   

Survivors include daughters, Jeane Frady and Mary McRae and her husband, Allen; grandchildren, Greg Jackson and his wife, Allison, Amy Scarafile and her husband, Joe, Andrew McRae and his wife, Serena, and Nathan McRae and his fiancé Leila Toba; great-grandchildren, Karena Jackson, Breanna, Sophia and Abby Scarafile and Patrick McRae; sister, Evelyn Smith; and brothers, Charles “Bud” and Ed Brenke.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Waltferd Scheppelman; and a sister, Jeane Roseberry.  

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
