Addie Moneta Houchens

90; of Charlestown

Funeral services for Addie Moneta Houchens, 90, of Charlestown, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at E. M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Mount Mariah Cemetery. She died Friday, May 16, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.

She was a native of Good Lucky, Ky., and a member of Missionary Baptist Church.

Addie is survived by her daughters, Shirley Barnett, of Scottsburg, Sue Mooneyman, Charlestown, Barbara Fitzpatrick, of Siloam Springs, Ark., Linda Reynolds, of Decaturville, Tenn., Fay Jeffers, of Henryville, Becky Adair, of Louisville, Joyce Moser, of Lexington, Ind., Teresa Allenzer, of New Sulfer, Ky., and Eva Hill, of Henryville; sons, Gene Gumm, of New Albany, James Gumm, of American Canyon, Ca., Darrell Brummett, of Jeffersonville, Gary Houchens, of Henryville, Michael Houchens, of Scottsburg,  Donald Houchens, of Louisville,  and Dave Houchens, of Clark Hills, Ind.; 24 grandchildren; 32 great- grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Mayme Froedge; and her son Melivin R. Brummett.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
