Teresa Kahl Poulter, 63; Clarksville

— A memorial service for Teresa Kahl Poulter, 63, Clarksville, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown. She died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Hosparus at Norton’s in Louisville.

She was born July 29, 1950 in Scottsburg, the daughter of Marvin Kahl and Helen Clapp Kahl Arnett. She was a retired shift supervisor at Clark County Juvenile Detention Center, Jeffersonville, and was a respected 26 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa McGinity Hostettler and her husband, Travis, Henryville; son, Joe Heuser and his wife, Flo, Woodbridge, Va.; mother, Helen Arnett, Memphis; sister, Pam Emerson, Memphis; eight grandchildren, Austin, Nicole, Cam, Addy, Torrie, Gabbie, Hannah and Zach; and great-grandchild, Izzy.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Kahl and her stepfather, Roy Arnett.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
