A memorial service for Marty E. Broadus, 55, of Pekin, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at the Charlestown Road Chapel of Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany. He died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
He was a New Albany native, a bricklayer and owner/operator of Broadus Masonry Co. in Amarillo, Texas, where he resided for a number of years.
Survivors include his children, Amber Broadus Caster and her husband, T.J., and Chris Broadus; step-children, Michelle Roscoe and her husband, Brian, and Tina Pike Hogan, all of Texas; his mother, Shelia Porter Harrell, of Pekin; two sisters, Shonna Broadus, of Pekin and Sherry Troutman and her husband William, of Salem; eight grandchildren, Krystal, Zachary, Skylar, Marrissa, Madyson, Cali, Kylie, Ashleigh; and great-grandchildren C.J. and Jaxon.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Cremation has been chosen.
