Funeral services for Dorothy Morris, 88, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, at Legacy Funeral Center in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Norton Hospice Pavilion in Louisville.
She was born in Jeffersonville and was a retired legal secretary from Mike Maples & Associates in Louisville. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, enjoyed reading and playing cards, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include five children, Jimmy Morris, of Pekin, Mark Morris and his wife Romy, of Jeffersonville, Barbie Morris, of Jeffersonville, Janet Riddle and her husband Randy, of Charlestown and Pam Nolan and her husband Kenny, of Charlestown; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Morris; a daughter, Lisa Morris; and her parents, James and Eileen Mofield.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Norton Hospice Pavilion. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
