Clifford H. Denison

87; of Lanesville

— Funeral services for Clifford H. Denison, 87, of Clarksville, formerly of Lanesville, were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with interment in Edwardsville Cemetery, Edwardsville. He died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Westminster Village Healthcare Center, Clarksville.

He was a native of New Albany, and was a retired machinist at the old General Auto Company. He was a longtime member of Main Street United Methodist Church, was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was a member of the NRA.

He is survived by two sons, Robert L. Denison and his wife, Amy, of Georgetown, and Richard T. Denison and his wife, Kathy, of Georgetown; a daughter, Susan C. Stewart and her husband, Tinsley, of Versailles, Ky.; four brothers, Larry Denison, of New Albany, Richard Denison, of Sacramento, Calif., Russell Denison, of New Albany, and Rev. Lynn Denison, of Carmel; sister-in-law, Norma L. McGloshen, of Clarksville; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Louise Judd Denison, brother, Charles Denison, and his parents Charles and Maude Jones Denison

Visitation was from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. today, at the funeral home.
