Bonnie Sue Woellner Radeke

72; Floyds Knobs

— A celebration of life service for Bonnie Sue Woellner Radeke, 72,  Floyds Knobs, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at Trinity United Methodist Church, New Albany. She died Monday, July 22, 2013, after a decade long fight with breast cancer. She never lost the ability to laugh, to share hopes and dreams, or to treasure life’s beauty and magic.

Born in Cincinnati on Feb. 12, 1941, she dedicated her life to education for more than 50 years. Soft spoken, creative, and nurturing, she delighted in teaching preschoolers in Ohio, Paducah, and Indiana (most recently teaching at Trinity Learning Center in New Albany.) 

Cherishing her memory is her beloved husband of 50 years, Mike; three devoted Eagle Scout sons, Michael R. Radeke and his wife, Tanya, of Frankfort, Ky., Daniel W. Radeke,  Louisville, and John Radeke,  Floyds Knobs; grandsons, Michael Thomas Radeke and Austin Talbert; brother, Todd Woellner and his wife, Debbie,  Cincinnati; sister-in-law, Betty Woellner; and many loving nieces and nephews.
