Gerry M. Huncilman, 81; New Albany

— Funeral services celebrating the life of Gerry M. Huncilman, 81, New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov.1, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at the Autumn Woods Health Campus.

 She was the former Gerry Tuttle, born in New Albany and was a retired secretary from the Bert R. Huncilman & Son Company and Mt. Tabor School. She was a member of the Purdue University Alumni Club, the Louisville Boat Club and the old New Albany Country Club.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy L. Recktenwald and her husband, Michael, Floyds Knobs; her son, Gary M. Austin and his wife, Darcy, Sacramento, Calif; two stepsons, Gordon Huncilman and his wife, Kathy, and Jeff “Boots” Huncilman, both of New Albany; two brothers, Jack Tuttle and his wife, Phyllis, and Harry E. Tuttle, both of Owensboro, Ky.; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Cassandra, Cody, Ellison, Elias, Tyler, Rebecca and Parker, and her former husband, Kenneth R. Austin.

  She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 39 years, Roger Lynn Huncilman and her sister: Jane Wells.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
