Alan “Butch” Fenwick, 65, of New Albany, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at his home.
He was born April 5, 1948, in Frankfort, Ky. to the late Pete and Wanda Ross Fenwick and was the widower of Donna Downs Fenwick.
He worked for 20-plus years and was the retired Southern Indiana Regional Manager for I.M.I. Inc.
Butch will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and all his many friends.
Survivors include his son, Rick Fenwick and his wife, Trisha, of Bonita Springs, Fla.; step-daugther, Maedra Wint and her husband, Nathan, of New Albany; step-son Adam Broadus and his wife, Megan, of Louisville; five grandchildren, Nicole, Lexus, Raley, Preston and Samuel; sisters, Dottie Flora, Peachie Loafman and her husband, Nathan, both of Bowling Green, Ky., and Nancy Pocius and her husband, Joe, of Peoria, Ill.; a brother, Jerry Fenwich and his wife, Charlana, of Indianapolis; and his best friend Casey Sperzel, of New Albany.
A reception of family and friends will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the Charlestown Road Chapel of Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany. A Hawaiian Luau Celebration service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. It was Butch’s personal request that all attendees wear Hawaiian shirts and relaxed clothing to his celebration.
Private entombment will take place in the Chapel of Memories at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
