Thomas J. Fink

76. New Albany

— Funeral services for Thomas J. Fink, 76, New Albany, will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany. He died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013.

  He was an avid fisherman and hunter, retired from Jeff Boat and was a member of the local Teamsters Union 89. He was born on March 18, 1937 in Harrison County, to the late Bernard C. and Mary Helen Fink.

Survivors include his children, Lonnie Fink and his wife, Karen, Louisville, Thomas J. Fink II and his wife, Pamela, Borden, and  Deborah A. White, Mauckport; siblings, Grace McKnight, Floyds Knobs, Dorothy Eisman, New Albany, Theresa Wimsatt, Floyds Knobs, Ronald Fink, Milton, Tenn., and Christopher Fink, Georgetown; grandchildren, Alisha Baker, Thomas J. Fink III, and Ashley Rutherford; and great-grandchildren, Peyton Yocum, William and Andrew Baker, Thomas J. Fink IV and Max Fink. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Earl, Paul Fink, and Mary Ann Scheidell; and grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Eveslage and James Keith Timberlake. 

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

 Cremation was chosen according to Thomas’ wishes.
