C. Walter Troutman

76; of New Albany

— Funeral service celebrating the life of C. Walter Troutman, 76, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at his home.

He was a native of Laconia, and retired from the Ford Motor Company K.T.P. Plant after 30 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Floyd County Token Club and a member of Scottsville Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Faith Troutman; his daughter, Michelle Troutman; two sons,  Michael Troutman, and Barry Troutman and his wife, Angie;  and five grandchildren, Taylor Phelphs, Cory, Rhiannon, Addison and Olivia Troutman.                    

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Linne Troutman and two brothers, Cecil and James Troutman Sr. 

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to Scottsville Christian Church or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
