Tara Rose Willenborg, 17; of Clarksville

Funeral services for Tara Rose Willenborg, 17, of Clarksville, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at St. Lukes United Church of Christ, 329 Walnut St., in Jeffersonville, with private burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. She died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her home.

She was born in Jeffersonville, attended Jeffersonville High School, was an employee of Subway and a was member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ. She loved animals and her friends.

Survivors include her parents, Todd Willenborg and Kelley Curran, of Jeffersonville; two brothers, Todd Willenborg Jr. and Derek Willenborg, both of Jeffersonville; a sister, Colleen Willenborg, of Jeffersonville; her grandfather, Neil Curran, of Clarksville; her grandmother, Vickki Magnum, of Kentucky; her fiance, Josh Lewis, of Clarksville; her aunt, Terrie Vaughn, of New Albany; numerous cousins, including Ashley Simmons, Aven, Justin, and Ethan Stenger, and Chris Willenborg; and her best friend Jessica Mosqueda. 

Visitation at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarksville will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. 

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Jeffersonville Animal Protection Association.
