Patricia A. ‘Pat’ Kraemer

75; New Albany

A Funeral Liturgy for Patricia A. “Pat” Kraemer, 75, New Albany, will be at noon Saturday, Aug. 31, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. She died Wednesday, Aug. 28, at her home.

 She was born June 15, 1938 to the late Edward and Henrietta Renn Kraemer.  She was a 1956 graduate of Providence High School and operated an accounting business on Pearl Street in New Albany for more than 50 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany. She was an excellent softball player and coach, and was inducted into the ASA Hall of Fame as both a player and coach in 1988. She was an excellent friend and sister who loved the UK Wildcats, the LA Dodgers and Notre Dame football.

She is survived by her Godmother, Lucille Thomas; two brothers, Gerald and Gilbert Kraemer; a sister, Darlene Kraemer; nephews, Douglas, Steven and his wife, Lori, and Tim Kraemer; nieces, Amy Gooch and Krista Campisano and her husband, James; great-nieces, Ember and Jade Gooch and Cara Campisano; and great-nephews, Ryan Campisano and Lukas Kraemer.  Also her dog, Elvis.

She was preceded in death by her twin brother, William “Duke” Kraemer, Ronald Kraemer and Sandra Kraemer.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany. 

 The family would like to thank Hosparus of Southern Indiana for their assistance these last days.
