Wanda Mae Bower

81; Clarksville

Funeral services for Wanda Mae Bower, 81, Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m.. Saturday, March 22, at Grayson Funeral Home, New Washington, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery, New Washington. She died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 26, 1932 to Hugh and Edna Brooks Oakley in Ford County, Ill. She was a factory worker for Reliance Electric in Madison, and she worked at the old B & T Drug Store, Charlestown. She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Dennis Bower, and Greg Bower, both of New Washington; daughters, Marsha Bower, and Kim Bower, both of New Washington; brother, Danny Oakley, Charlestown; sister, Patty Oakley, Jeffersonville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, and after 9 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
