— Funeral services for Louis L. Baker, 75, Borden, will be at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 15, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, Georgetown, with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery. He died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at his home.

He was born Jan. 28, 1939 in New Albany, the son of Raymond L. and Geneva May Blalock Baker. He was a retired machine operator at Brown-Foreman Tobacco and the Floyd County Highway Department.

He is survived by two brothers, Roy E. Berks, Borden, and Earl Rissler, New Albany; six sisters, Virginia Humphrey and Shirley Glotzbach, New Albany, Dorothy Allen, Pennsylvania, Sylvia Cook and Alma Butler, Paoli, and Thelma Cook, Hardinsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joyce Paulette Brown Baker and a daughter, Betty Jean Baker Davis.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
