William ‘Lee’ Hughes, 46; New Albany

— Graveside services for William “Lee” Hughes, 46, New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 2, at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died, entered the loving arms of Christ, on Tuesday, April 29, 2014.

He was born August 11, 1967 in Louisville. He was a resident of New Albany and spent some years in the Madison area. He graduated from New Albany High School in 1986 and attained his certificate in welding. Professionally, he worked for several companies welding, something he loved and was proud of. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include  his daughter, Taylor Miller; brother, Robert Tellman; sister, Elizabeth Leftwich and her husband, Dan; uncle, Billie Bowman; and his nephews, Kyle and Ryan Leftwich.

 He is preceded in death by his mother ,Marilyn Joyce Hughes and his grandmother,  Elizabeth Bowman.

Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon Friday, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany.
