Clarence A. B. Thompson Jr., 64; of Jeffersonville

— Funeral services for Clarence A.B. Thompson Jr., 64, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, with burial in Eastern Cemetery. He died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the VA Hospital in Louisville. 

He was a native of Glasgow, Ky., and retired from the U.S. Army. He was a former employee of Kentuckiana Tank Wash and Munich Welding and a member of American Legion Post 35.

Survivors include his daughters, Betty A. Woodruff and her husband, John, of Charlestown, and Lisa Higdon, of Jeffersonville; a son, Brian D. Thompson and his wife, Latonja, of Jeffersonville; Jasmine Thompson, of New Albany; John and Aaron Woodruff, of Charlestown, Christopher Adamson and Armond Thompson, of Jeffersonville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna P. Thompson.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26.
