Carolyn D. Moakler, 77; of Jeffersonville

Funeral Mass for Carolyn D. Moakler, 77, of Jeffersonville, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Jeffersonville, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Clark Memorial Hospital. 

She worked in sales at Bacon’s in Jeffersonville, as an accountant for American Commercial Bargelines, Silgas in Clarksville, Ganz furniture in Louisville, and American Air Filter until retirement. After retirement she worked part time at JCPenney to keep up with people and friends. She was a member of Tri Kappa and St. Augustine Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, camping, playing cards, cooking and baking cakes, and watching Indiana University basketball. 

She is survived by her children, Rayetta Graff and husband, David, of Corydon, Lynne Evanczyk and husband, David, of Jeffersonville, and R. Joseph Moakler, of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, David Lee Graff, Stephen Ray Graff and wife, Erica, Matthew Scott Evanczyk and wife, Lauren, Jennifer Lynn Evanczyk, and Christine Ann Evanczyk; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Ray Graff, Kinzie Lynn Graff and Emma Christine Evanczyk. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Moakler; and  parents, Otto and Esther Maraman. 

 Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville. 

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Sacred Heart School  or St. Augustine Catholic Church.
