Harold “Bud” O. Fitch, 89; of Clarksville

— A memorial service for Harold “Bud” O. Fitch, 89, of Clarksville, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Westminster Retirement Village, 2200 Greentree North, Clarksville.  He died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at his home.  Scott Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements.  

Harold was born on March 10, 1923, in Scottsburg, to the late Otis and Grace Fitch. He retired as chief of police on the Mokena, Ill., police department and was a Navy veteran of WWII. 

He is survived by his three children, Lynne Fuchs and her husband Wayne; Priscilla Fitch; Harold “Skip” L. Fitch and his wife Lisa; seven grandchildren, April Fuchs, Derek Fuchs, Michael Weichbrodt, Neal Fitch, Misty Kruer, Brad Carr and Brason Carr; and 10 great-grandchildren.   

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice D. Fitch; and two brothers and five sisters.
