Margaret N. Cook, 84; formerly of Utica

— \Funeral services for Margaret N. Cook, 84, of Sellersburg, formerly of Utica, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel, Jeffersonville, with burial in Utica Hillcrest Cemetery. She went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2013.

She was born and raised in Utica, and was a member of Resurrection Life Church of Jeffersonville.

She is survived by her three children, Mary Vincent and husband, Dwight, of Clarksville, Alice Doyle and husband, John, of Shelbyville, Ky., and Steven Cook and wife, Debbie, of Palmyra; a brother, Henry “Bud” Oberlies, of Utica; 10 grandchildren, Tonya Collins, Jeremy Vincent, Jay Vincent, Mary Lou Humphrey, Jason Cook, Josh Cook, Jennifer Craven, Troy Doyle, Sherry Perry and Jamie Doyle; 27 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest W. Cook; daughter, Glenna Rae Cook; parents, Henry and Maggie Oberlies; brother, George Oberlies; and sisters, Mary McDonner and Faye Davis.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, and  9 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. 

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to VistaCare Hospice and/or Resurrection Life Church of Jeffersonville, IN. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
