Archie D. Curtis, 88; Corydon

— Funeral services for Archie D. Curts, 88, Corydon, will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Rev. Jim Higdon will officiate. Pallbearers will be Stephen Neff, Leroy Lewis, Edwin Hall, Harlan Fisher, Larry Fessel, and Joe Rosbottom.

He died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Corydon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born March 13, 1926, in Corydon, to the late Ray and Fernie Cunningham Curts. He was an electrician, a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon, and a Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice Belle Feller Curts; his daughters, Susan G. Stevens and Jan E. Curts; and his sisters, Vernice Feller, Mildred Fisher, and Donnie Fessel.

Survivors include his daughter, Rita L. Neff and husband, Mark, of Crandall, Ind.; five grandchildren, Tom Timberlake, Doug Timberlake and wife, Cindy, Stephen Neff, Sarah Lewis  and husband, Leroy, and Heather Hall and husband, Ed; a sister, Edith Davis and husband, Calvin; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Memorial Fund at Old Capitol United Methodist Church.
