Clara Jane Meyer Kopp, 88; Danville, Ky.

— Funeral services for Clara Jane Meyer Kopp, 88, Danville, Ky., formerly of Clarksville, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarksville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. She died Monday, April 7, 2014.

 Born Feb. 23, 1926 in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Edward Emil and Emma Leuenberger Meyer. She was a graduate of Ekron High School and earned her LPN degree at the Prosser School of Nursing,  New Albany. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, canning, and gardening.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Kopp Cody and her husband, Jack, Danville, Ky., and Rebecca Kopp Wilson and her husband, Steve, Clarksville; three siblings, Titus Meyer and his wife, Rose, Guston, Ky., and Martha Bugg and Virginia Hall, both of Louisville; three grandchildren, John Cody and his wife, Susan, Jim Cody and his wife, Laura, and John K. Platt; and three great-grandchildren, Alexandra Cody, Jackson Cody and Brady Platt.

She was preceded in death  by her husband, Edwin Paul Kopp.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
