Carl Edward Geswein, 61; Wynne, Ark.

— Carl Edward Geswein, 61, Wynne, Ark., died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at his home.

 Born in Indiana, he spent most of his life in the state with his family, and moved to Arkansas later in life. He had an intense passion for music, often playing the blues on his guitar or playing his favorite albums. He was a member of several bands, including Rain Dance and Two for the Road, throughout his lifetime. His other interests included gardening, tinkering with electronics, and woodworking.

Survivors include three sons, Andy Geswein and his wife, Amy, Little Rock, Ark., Dennis Geswein and his wife, Callie, Little Rock, Ark.; and Eric Geswein, Wynne, Ark.; brothers, John Geswein and his wife, Rosemary, Louisville, Allen Geswein and his wife, Fran, Oro Valley, Ariz., and Jim Geswein and his wife, Charlotte, Indianapolis; his stepmother, Edna Geswein, Georgetown; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Geswein, New Albany, and his parents, Elmer and Mildred Geswein, New Albany.

Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany.
