Rosetta ‘Rosie’ Drescher

88; of Georgetown

— Funeral services for Rosetta “Rosie” Drescher, 88, of Georgetown, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany, followed by private burial. She died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at her home.

  She was the former Rosie Dyer, a native of Corydon, where she was a member of the Zoar United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her nephews, Dennis Dyer and his wife, Rhonda; great-nephews, Jason and Brandon; great-great-nephew, Bradley; and longtime friend and caregiver, Sarah J. Crane and her family.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Drescher, and four brothers, Thurman, Emerson, Ray and Paul Dyer.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
