Shirley J. Magnuson Shultz

78; of Georgetown

— Funeral services for Shirley J. Magnuson Shultz, 78, of Georgetown, will be at noon Thursday, Jan. 24, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany,  with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.

  She was born June 25, 1934 in Bottineau, N.D. to the late Nels and Lucille McGhan Magnuson. She was the widow of Leonard G. Shultz who died in 1998. She was a retired statistician with the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville. She will be greatly missed, but fondly remembered by all her family and friends.

Survivors include three children, Leonard B. Shultz and wife, Mary Ann, of    Otisco, Rick Shultz, of Georgetown, and Donna Herron and Mark Anderson, Greenville; three grandchildren, George, Stephanie, and Lauren; four great-grandchildren, Dominic, Owen, Adeline, and Oliver; sister, Gloria Wells and her husband, Allen, of Indiana; brothers, Nels “Bud” Magnuson and wife, Betty, of New Mexico, and Russell Magnuson and wife, Darla, of North Dakota; and a special niece, Cheryl Rodewig, of Clarksville.   

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
