Robert ‘Bob’ Coley, 83; of Lakes Wales, Fla.

— A memorial service for Robert “Bob” Coley, 83, of Lake Wales, Fla., will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at The Elks Lodge, Jeffersonville. He died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, in his home of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 18, 1932, in Paducah, Ky. to William H. Coley and Catherine Orene. He served his country in the United States Navy. He later retired from the Ford Motor Co. plant after 35 years as an electrician. He spent his days of retirement golfing any chance he got and held a lifetime membership of The Order of the Elk.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela G. Ross; his son, Gary G. Coley; five grandchildren, Kyle R. Ross, Emily A. Ross, Heather M. Norris, Jonah Ross, and Ayla Ross; and four great-grandchildren, Layla Norris, Abigail Ross, Maya Norris, and Emily Ross. He was also survived by his dear friend, Dorothy Padjack

He was preceded in death by his brother, William, and his sister, Barbara.
