Martha J. Banet Moore, 70; of Floyds Knobs

A Funeral Mass for Martha J. Banet Moore, 70, of Floyds Knobs, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at St. Mary of the Knobs Chapel in Floyds Knobs. She died Saturday, May 11, at her residence. 

She was born June 13, 1942, in Floyds Knobs, to the late Wilfred and Mary Frances (Renn) Banet. She was a retired first deputy clerk with the Clark County Auditor’s office in Jeffersonville, and was a lifelong Catholic. 

Survivors include a son, Pat R. Moore, of New Albany; two sisters, Ailleen Banet and Norma Andres (Buddy); three brothers, Maurice Banet and his wife Marilyn, of Floyds Knobs, Merle Banet and his wife Faye, of New Albany, and Larry Banet and his wife Donna, of Floyds Knobs; five grandchildren, Kirk and Bailey Moore, Dylan and Robert Long, and Hope Nolen. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Michelle Moore; and three brothers, Tommy, Joe and Dutch Banet. 

A reception for family and friends will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. on Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 709 E. Spring St., New Albany.
