Anna Lou Bezy, 78; of New Albany

Funeral Mass for Anna Lou Bezy, 78, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, Floyds Knobs, with burial in the church cemetery. She died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services. 

She was born Dec. 1, 1934, in Fredericksburg, to the Fred and Marjorie Roll Deweese. She was a retired manager of Uptown Liquors in New Albany and was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church in Floyds Knobs, and the VFW Post 1693 Ladies Auxiliary in New Albany.

Survivors include her children, Donna Oskin and her husband, Sam, of Georgetown, Joyce Kessinger, of New Albany, Bob Bezy and his wife, Kathy, of New Albany, and Angie Crain and her husband, Mark, of Georgetownp; a brother, Roy Deweese and his wife, Judy, of New Albany; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bezy; and an infant son, Steven Bezy. 

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany. 

The family requests expressions of sympathy go to the Alzheimer’s Association.
