Funeral services for Elizabeth A. Hassfurther, 71 formerly of Charlestown, will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with private graveside service for immediate family, Wednesday morning at Charlestown Cemetery. She died Tuesday July 9, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born March 11, 1942 to Alford and Margaret Dixon Case in Scottsburg. She worked as an executive assistant in the commercial real estate division at PNC Bank, was a member of the First Christian Church of Noblesville, and attended Waterline Church in Noblesville. She was an avid reader, enjoyed painting pottery, and loved sports especially the New York Yankees and the Indianapolis Colts. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Survivors include her daughter, Marla Boring and her husband, Kevin; brothers, Alford Case Jr. and his wife, Muriel, Gene Case, and Roger Case and his wife, Patty; sister; Belinda Lyvers and her husband, Donald; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert Joseph Hassfurther.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
