Earlene M. Pullen, 84; New Albany

— A funeral service celebrating the life of Earlene M. Pullen, 84, New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Autumn Woods Health Campus, New Albany.

She was the former Earlene M. Clayton, born in Alexandria, Va., and was a former bank teller at the Union National Bank and was an Assistant Auditor at the Barnett Bank in Fort Myers, Fla. She loved to bowl in her bowling league at Daisy Lanes and was a member of the Jayshees and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross.

Survivors include her  husband, Robert Pullen Sr.; sons, Ronald Pullen and Robert Pullen Jr. and his wife, Valerie; daughter, Linda Evans and her husband, Van; brother, Richard Clayton and his wife, Lynn; two sisters, Catherine Morgan and Betty Dipzinski; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Virginia Clayton, her brother, Martin Clayton and two sisters, Margaret McQueen and Pat Clegg.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
