Ronald A. “Rocky” Rauchmiller

80; of New Albany

Funeral services for Ronald A. “Rocky” Rauchmiller, 80, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, at Epiphany United Methodist Church in Louisville with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. He went to his heavenly home on April 25, 2013, surrounded by his family.

He was a graduate of Indiana University and retired from CSX Transportation. Ronald was a member of Epiphany United Methodist Church, Louisville, P.M. of Falls Lodge No. 749 F&AM, Derby City Lights, Southern Indiana Model Train Club, a Kentucky Colonel, 50-Year Member I-Men’s Association, and a member of Columbia High School (N.J.) Athletic Hall of Fame.

Survivors include his loving wife, Elizabeth Daugherty Rauchmiller; sons,  Michael Rauchmiller and his wife Melissa, and Patrick Rauchmiller and his wife Mandy; daughter, Leigh Anne Eyer and her husband Roy; grandchildren, Rachel (Dirk), Matthew, Natasha, Andrew, Alexander, Levi and Ethan; and great-grandson, Lincoln.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Bettie Jo (Bellis); parents, Gertrude and Frank Rauchmiller; and brother, Robert Rauchmiller

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with a Masonic Service at 6:30 and at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
