Lewis Earl Craven, 79; of Floyds Knobs

Lewis Earl Cravens, 79, of Floyds Knobs, died Saturday, May 11, 2013, with his family by his side. 

He was a past master at Masonic Lodge 40 in Jeffersonville, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite, and a Murat Shriner. He was retired from I.C.I. after 30 years and retired from Falls Cities Boiler.  

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Diane Craven; children, Tiffany Rosenbaum and her husband, Todd, Dawn Polen and her husband, Dug, and Mark Portwood and his wife, Michelle; and grandchildren, Jacob Rosenbaum and Cory and Lindsay Portwood.

Cremation was chosen. A private memorial service will be held. 

Kraft Funeral Service has been entrusted with his care.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Hosparus of Southern Indiana or the Floyd County Animal Shelter.
