Bernard “Junie” Schroder, 75; of Clarksville


Funeral Mass for Bernard “Junie” Schroder, 75, of Clarksville, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 20, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Clarksville, with burial in St. Joe Hill Catholic Cemetery. He peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. 

He was born May 26, 1937, in Floyds Knobs, to the late Bernard J. and Lillian Fenwick Schroder. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Clarksville, for 48 years. He was a devoted husband, dad, and grandpa with many talents. 

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynda Ann Weber Schroder; two daughters, Lill Kelly (Rick McMichael), and Renee Richardson and her husband, Shóne; a son, Kevin Schroder and his wife, Dorene; four grandchildren, Shelby, Kailey, Norah, and Wilson; two brothers, Jim Schroder and his wife, Kelly, and Mark Schroder and his wife, Mary; and a sister, Angela Hayes and her husband, Tom. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother, Mary C. Zimmerman Schroder; brother, Dale Schroder; and sister, Donna Schroder. 

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany.
