Freda Larberg Barmore

90; of Floyds Knobs

Funeral services for Freda Larberg Barmore, 90, of Floyds Knobs, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Wednesday, Nov.  2, 2011, at her home.

She was a Floyd County native and a member of Calvary Christian Church in Sellersburg. She also attended Scottsville Christian Church, Floyds Knobs. She was a homemaker and a member of Top of the Hill Homemakers Club.     

Survivors included two sons, Lew “Gary” Barmore and his wife, Joan, of Floyds Knobs, and Aaron Nathan Barmore and his wife, Bridgit, of  Louisville; daughter, Claudia Ettel and her husband, Dale, of    New Albany; sister, Lucille Clanney, of New Albany; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 10  great-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Barmore; and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to WHAS Crusade for Children.
