Marjorie Collins Phillips, 95; of New Albany

Funeral services for Marjorie Collins Phillips, 95, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the Kentuckiana Medical Center.

She was born in Jackson County and taught piano lessons until the last few years of her life. She was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Borden.

Survivors include her three children, Barry W. Phillips and his wife, Karen, of New Albany, David Taylor Phillips, of New Albany, Marjorie Sue Phillips, of Columbia, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Phillips; a grandson, Scott Allen Phillips; her parents, Franklin David Collins and Ethel Collins; and four sisters. 

Memorial contributions can be made to Park Place United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
