Lt. Commander Warren Emil Aeschbach

86; of Jeffersonville

— A graveside service for Lt. Commander Warren Emil Aeschbach [Retired], will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, in Richmond, Texas.  

 He was born on March 24, 1926, in Jeffersonville, to Emil and Frieda Aeschbach. After graduating from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree, he faithfully served his nation for more than 20 years of active Naval service. During the Korean conflict, he served aboard two cruisers, and took part in the invasion of Inchon. He subsequently served aboard a seaplane tender and two destroyers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean Aeschbach; daughter, Cheryl of Uppsala, Sweden; son, Steve and daughter-in-law, Paula, of Richmond, Texas; grandson, Jason of Uppsala; granddaughter, Sharon of Highlands Ranch, Co.; grandson, Steven of Burleson, Texas; and great- granddaughters, Elise and Freja.
