Rita M. Fein Tully

91; of New Albany

A funeral Mass for Rita M. Fein Tully, 91, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s

Church Cemetery, New Albany. She died Monday, March 11, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.   

She was born Feb. 27, 1922, in New Albany, to the late Henry and Cledith Fenger Fein. She was the second lady bankteller hired at the old Floyd County Bank in New Albany and was a devoted wife, mom, best friend and homemaker for the majority of her life.   

Rita was the widow of Charles E. “Bud” Tully who died in 1988. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany and also attended St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville. 

Survivors include her children, Beverly “Bev” Tully and John Tully, both of New Albany; cousin, Shirley Ann Beeler, of Batesville; nephew and nieces, Walt Cory Jr., Sue Yingling and Mary Pat Wilson, of New Albany; and her beloved cat, Jill.

She was preceded in death by an uncle, John Beeler; aunt, Alma Fenger Beeler; and by two sisters-in-law. Ida Mae Russell and Mary Cory.

Reception of family and friends will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapek, New Albany.
