Kathryn C. “KC” Guethlein, 61; Charlestown

— Memorial service for Kathryn C. “KC” Guethlein, 61, Charlestown, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Charlestown Independent Church. She died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at her home.

She was born Jan. 23, 1952 in Terre Haute, the daughter of Neil and Dorothy Tipps Sickler. She was an electronics technician, farmer and attended Charlestown Independent Church. She and her husband worked together bringing the word of God through their Riverview Nursing Home Ministry. She also enjoyed collecting all things brass and had such a warm heart and truly cared for people and their lives.

Survivors include her husband, Dave Guethlein; daughters, Teresa Renee Ousley, Columbia City, Laura Kay Huguenin, Jeffersonville, and Jamie Suzanne Guethlein, Clarksville; sons, Jesse David Guethlein and his wife, Sabrina, Greenville, Jerry Anthony Dillander and his wife, Melinda, Charlestown and Jeremy Steveson, Lanesville; sisters, Leslie Gayle Rumbly and her husband. Terry, Palmyra, and Michelle Anna Brown (Charles Russell), Dawson, Ill.; brother, David Sickler, Clear Water, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, Ryan, Adam, Ally, Blake, Katie, Chelsi, Aiden, Alaina, Audrey, Jonas, Izabella, Caden and Alaric; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. Saturday, at the church.

Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, is in charge of arrangements.
