Edna Mae Martin Bullington, 87; Jeffersonville

— Funeral services for Edna Mae Martin Bullington, 87, Jeffersonville, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 27, 1925 in Evans Landing in Harrison County, to the late Clarence “William”  and Altha Mae Langsdon Martin. She was employed at the Charlestown Ammunition Plant and Louisville Bedding for many years. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3281 Ladies Auxiliary, New Albany.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jack Bullington; children, Sandra Satterfield, Barbara Benjamin and her husband, Jarvis, and Larry Chaney; brother, Frederick Martin and his wife, Geneva; sisters, Wilma Brown and her husband, Jim, and Mary Jane Nichols; nine grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and nine great great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Homer and Lawrence Martin; sister, Alma Pease; and infant sister, Thelma Martin.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
