Marilyn Joyce Salesman Farabee, 78; New Albany

— Funeral services for Marilyn Joyce Salesman Farabee, 78,  New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Monday, Nov. 11, 2013.

 She was a life-long resident of New Albany and a member of Scottsville Christian Church, Floyds Knobs. She was a loving mother and aunt, active in her church and belonged to several Bunco clubs. She was a generous care giver to an assortment of pets throughout the years. Her home was always open with love and affection. She was born Feb. 10, 1935 in New Albany to the late Robert and Sylvia McCafferty Salesman.  

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy L. Gregg and husband, Christopher; niece, Kathy Copas; nephew, Jerry Copas and his wife, Kathy; great-nephew, Spencer Copas; and good family friend, Judy McDaniel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Farabee; sister, Betty J. Copas; and brother, Donald Salesman.  

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
