Ernest O. Walker

91; of Clarksville

Funeral services for Ernest O. Walker, 91, of Clarksville, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 10, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Monday, May 6, 2013, at Westminster Health Care Center.

 He was an Army World War II Veteran and retired from the maintenance department at General Electric. He was also a member of American Legion Post 35, Buckner Masonic Lodge 631, Evansville Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine Temple, Tri County Shrine Club, Kentucky Colonel. He was a native of Clark County.

He is survived by his daughters, Jean A. Humphrey and husband, Steve, of Louisville, Beth A. Walker, of Clarksville, and Mary A. Druin and husband, Scott, of Clarksville; brother, Robert Walker, of Charlestown; grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Daniel, Jessica, Danielle, Scotti, and Jacob; and great-grandchildren, McKenna, Walker, Lakoda.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Walker; father, John C. Walker; and mother, Bertha E. Walker.

 Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
