A funeral service celebrating the life of W. Kent Hankins, 74, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.
He was a native of Libertyville, Ill., and was a member of the National Guard. He was the retired owner of the Credit Bureau of Southern Indiana, the Credit Bureau of Owensboro, Ky., and the Credit Bureau of Henderson, Ky. He was a member of the American Collectors Association and the Associated Credit Bureaus of America.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Hankins; daughter, Kim Keller and her husband, Keith; brother, Vaughan Hankins and his wife, Karen; and three grandchildren, Hayley, Keahna and Jaden Willard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, K.O. and Ethel Hankins.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
