Doris E. [Hausken] Olson

73; of Clarksville

— Funeral serivces for Doris E. [Hausken] Olson, 73, of Clarksville, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 18 at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services surrounded by her family.

She was born in Morris, Ill. in 1939 and married Carl L. Olson on Oct. 15, 1963. She was a loving mother, grandmother, compassionate and loyal friend to many. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany.

Survivors include her three children, Lisa Dancey, of Nashville, Tenn., Amy Falkenstein and her husband, P.K., of Jeffersonville, and Brent Olson and his wife, LeeAnne, of Sun Prairie, Wis.; seven grandchildren; Kyle and Cole Dancey, Kasey and Kooper Falkenstein, Sydney, Brittany and Ezra Olson; four sisters; Evelyn Swenhaugen, Clara Hauge, Shirley Seidler and Helen Baker, all of Illinois; a sister in law, Della Dreyer and her husband, Edgar, of Missouri; and close family friend, Mike Swaney and his wife, Leslie, of Bend, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Olson; parents, Peter and Astrid Hausken; brothers, Earl, Russell, Norman and Orville Hausken; a sister, Lois Anderson and son-in-law, Kevin Dancey.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday.
