Virginia L. (Vicroy) Martin, 77; of New Albany

— Funeral services for Virginia L. (Vicroy) Martin, 77, of New Albany, will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany, with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.  She died Tuesday, March 26, 2013.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was a member of First Capital Christian Church in Corydon. Virginia was a true animal lover, always enjoyed being outdoors working in her yard, and had a knack for interior design and quilting.       

She was born on Feb. 17, 1936, in Miami, Ohio, to the late Gilbert Vicroy and Mary Catherine (Campfield) Barth. 

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, John L. Martin; children, Kathy Atwood and her husband Beverly, Mark Stevens and his wife Pamela, Traci Miller and Kimberly Blanco and her husband Hector; grandchildren, Michelle Cochran and her husband Michael, Zane Stevens and Brandon, Hunter Miller and Angel Louis Blanco; great-grandchildren, Brianne and Austin Cochran.  

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
