Farrell M. Hollen

87; New Albany

— Funeral services for Farrell M. Hollen, 87, New Albany, will be at 2 p.m. today, Saturday, March 22, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, followed by private interment. He died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Lincoln Hills Health Center, New Albany.

He was born in Taswell, and was an Army veteran of World War II having served in Alaska. He was the owner of the old Hollen TV Sales and Service, New Albany, which he operataed for more than 40 years until retirement.

Survivors include his son, Paul Robinson, New Albany; daughters, Dianna Cox and her husband, Gary, Plainfield, Brenda Smith and her husband, Joe, Greencastle, and Patty A. Doyle and her husband, Frank, New Albany; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren and another one expected soon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gay B. Smith Hollen in 2011, parents Floyd and Ida Gillettt Hollen, brother, Gene Hollen, and sisters, Norma Brown and Leota Condra.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
